I am leaving my current teaching role – how do I transfer Smart Revise to my successor?

The process of transferring Smart Revise access from one teacher account to another has data protection and safeguarding implications, so unfortunately we cannot simply transfer access from one teacher to another for you.

We also cannot set up a new account for your successor because they need to agree to the terms and conditions when a new account is created.

Here are the steps you will need to follow to transfer access to another teacher for your Smart Revise classes.

Transferring your Smart Revise classes

Wherever possible, class transfer should be carried out before you leave and while the email account you used to register your Smart Revise teacher account is still active, just in case you need to reset your password to gain access.

Firstly, your successor will need to register for their own Smart Revise teacher account by visiting smartrevise.online and clicking Sign up as a teacher. They will also need to verify their email address by clicking the link in the welcome email they receive.

Next, you will need to convert your class to a shared class and have your successor join as a co-teacher. Click the following link for a step-by-step guide:

Once your successor has requested to join your class and you have approved their request, they will have full control of the class and access to all the associated data. They will also be able to remove your access to the class when the time comes.

You will need to repeat this process for any other classes you need to hand over.

Transferring your Smart Revise vouchers

For your successor to be able to control any vouchers your school has purchased through your Smart Revise teacher account, the best thing to do is have us transfer the orders from your account to theirs.

To arrange this, please contact us at admin@craigndave.co.uk, providing us with the email address associated with both your Smart Revise teacher account and your successor's.
