We teach shared classes – how can multiple teachers create, join and manage shared classes?

Start by setting up your class if you haven't already. How do I set up a new class?

Every class has a six character class code shown on the class management screen. Tell your colleagues the class code. E.g. KABQE6.

Your colleague will need to have their own Smart Revise teacher account and know the class code to join your class. (Note this is the six character class code generated by Smart Revise, not your timetable class code).

After logging in, your colleague will need to click the "Join a shared class" button on their dashboard.


They will be prompted to enter the class code.



REQUESTS TO JOIN A SHARED CLASS AS A TEACHER MUST BE APPROVED BY A TEACHER WHO IS ALREADY A MEMBER OF THAT CLASS.

Class join requests must be approved or denied on the class management screen by any teacher that is currently a teacher of that class. On the class management screen where you can see the list of students, at the bottom is a list of teachers also associated with the class:





Click "Approve" to approve the teacher requesting to join your class.

Until the request is approved, the teacher will see the following:
