Leaderboards share an individual student's progress with others in the class. This can be motivational for some students who like to know how well they are doing compared to their peers, but they must be used with caution so as not to demotivate students at the bottom of the leaderboard.

You can easily set the leaderboard limit, set the date range for leaderboards and set a limit for the all time leaderboards.

Find out how to configure the leaderboard so that only the top x students are shown, to disable it completely or to select a date range for a custom leaderboard.

To view a leaderboard:

Go to the course 

Go to the class

Click on More actions

Click on Leaderboards
