Class settings

Every class you create in Smart Revise has its own class configuration screen.
Once you have selected a class press the "More Actions" then "Configure Class" from the dropdown.


You can do various things from the class configuration screen:

Class Setup

  1. Change the name of the class
  2. Generate a new class code and turn on / off the ability for students to join your class.
  3. Hide days until exam
  4. Turn on / off the various Smart Revise revision modes for this class as well as mode controls:
    1. Off - students cannot access this mode
    2. Smart Mode only - Smart Revise creates a personalised experience for each student.
    3. Question filters - Students can filter which questions they see for themselves (this does not affect the chosen topic filters)
  5. Toggle what references to resources you want to show when a question is answered.
  6. Save Changes
Topic Filtering

  1. Teacher Controlled - The teacher is the only one able to set topic filters
  2. Teacher Guided - The teacher can set topic filters, but students can also filter, but only on the topics chosen by the teacher.
  3. Student Controlled - The student has free reign to set their own topic filters.
Notes
Teachers cannot filter topics/ subtopics if the student has filter control

Manage Tags

  1. Create a new tag by typing in the desired tag name and press "Create new tag"
  2. Edit an existing tag
  3. Delete an existing tag
Notes
By editing or deleting a tag, your course tags will wither update or be deleted

Leaderboard Settings

Last X Days Leaderboard
  1. Choose the number of days from today to collect data from - EG: Setting 7 would use data from the last 7 days 
  2. You can limit the leaderboard to show the top "x" students by entering a limit - EG: 10 would show the top 10 students.
All Time Leaderboard
  1. You can limit the leaderboard to show the top "x" students by entering a limit - EG: 10 would show the top 10 students.
Flight Path

  1. Choose course start date
  2. Minimum expectation start date
  3. Aspirational percentage
  4. Minimum expectation percentage
Info
These settings are a global for your class.  You can set different values at student level if you need to.
