My students cannot see a task I assigned to them
There are two main reasons why your students may not be able to see a task you have created.
- The assignment process has not been completed. This can happen if the task wizard is exited after the task was created but before students were assigned - or in rare cases, when an error has occurred during the assignment phase.
- The task's schedule settings are set incorrectly - for example, an available date set in the future or an enforced deadline that has already passed.
To troubleshoot a task, first expand the details on your task page and check if the status is Not set for one or more of your students who cannot see the task. If this is the case, click the Actions link for each student and select Set task from the drop-down menu.
If the task has been assigned to your students and they are still not able to see it in their dashboard, please check the available-from and deadline dates for the task in question.
If neither of these solutions resolve your issue, please contact us at
admin@craigndave.co.uk letting us know the name of the affected class and task so we can investigate further.
