From August 2026 schools can purchase 12 months' access to our Key Stage 3 Resource Centre for £299 + VAT (most schools are able to reclaim the VAT from HMRC). This is not a subscription and does not automatically renew. No cancellation is ever required.
Your purchase provides access to protected areas of our website where you can download any Key Stage 3 resources available during your 12-month access period.
What's included?
As of August 2026, there will be 8 units available. We anticipate releasing approximately:
- 8 additional units during 2027.
- 8 additional units during 2028.
These plans are subject to change, but our aim is to have at least 20 units available by September 2028. This is the same approach we successfully used for our GCSE and A Level resources. We don't have the capacity to create every unit upfront. Instead, we develop resources over time, allowing us to build a comprehensive and sustainable curriculum offer with the support of schools.
A typical Key Stage 3 curriculum may require around 18 units (6 units per year), but we plan to create more than this to give schools greater flexibility when designing their curriculum.
What does this mean for schools?
Schools have different approaches depending on when they wish to begin planning their curriculum. You only pay £299 when you want 12-months access to download all the currently available resources. There are no payment plans or contracts. It is simply buy, download and buy again in the future if you choose to. These are some popular models for schools:
Option 1: Purchase 12-months access now and decide if you want to continue later
One year access.
Access to our first 8 units.
Total cost: £299 + VAT.
For those schools who want to fully evaluate our resources now before deciding whether to purchase more later.
Option 2: Purchase 12-months access in 2026, 2027 and 2028
Three years of access.
Access to resources as they are released.
Total overall cost: £897 + VAT (paid over 3-years: pay £299 this year, buy again next year, buy again the year after).
For those schools who want to support us from the beginning and gain early access.
Option 3: Purchase 12-months access in 2026 and again in 2028
Two years of access, missing in the middle year.
Total overall cost: £598 + VAT (paid in two years: pay £299 this year, buy again in 2028).
For those schools who want to get a feel for the scheme now and build their full programme of study later.
Option 4: Purchase 12-months access in 2028
One year of access.
Access to the complete scheme available at that time.
Total cost: £299 + VAT.
For those schools on a tighter budget that are happy to wait until the scheme of learning is complete.
Why would a school purchase early?
A fair question is: "Why purchase access now when more units will be available in 2028?" For many schools, the answer is that they want to start planning their curriculum earlier and make use of resources as they become available. Others choose to support the ongoing development of Craig'n'Dave resources.
Craig'n'Dave is run by two teachers. We operate with very modest margins and do not receive funding from government or industry. The continued support of schools allows us to keep producing high-quality resources and CPD at a price that remains affordable for the education sector. Many schools continue to renew their access because they value having immediate access to new resources, updated content and teacher support. We are incredibly grateful for that support, as it helps make Craig'n'Dave sustainable for the long term.
Key Stages 4 and 5
We also offer a separate Resource Centre for Key Stages 4 and 5. Please note that Key Stage 3 and Key Stages 4/5 Resource Centres are different products. Access codes are not interchangeable.
When purchasing access, you can choose the key stages you require, with pricing based on your selected access.
Multi-Academy Trusts
Our pricing model assumes that each secondary school has its own access and licence key, even when a Multi-Academy Trust chooses to purchase access centrally on behalf of its schools.
This is because access to the Resource Centre is intended for use by the staff within a single school. It would not be sustainable for a Trust to purchase a single licence and then distribute downloaded resources across multiple schools. If a Trust wishes several schools to benefit from the Resource Centre, each school should have its own access licence. Many Trusts choose to manage this centrally for convenience, but the number of licences purchased should reflect the number of schools requiring access.
